Dr. Sandy McDougal and the team at Plano Pediatric Dentistry specialize in dentistry for infants, children, adolescents, teenagers and special needs patients.

We strive to create a positive dental experience for every child and to educate them with the necessary skills to have a lifetime of optimal dental health. Every child is unique and we cater each visit to their specific ability level.

Our office was designed with children’s needs in mind - we have age appropriate activities in the waiting areas (including a playstation, TVs above each treatment chair and various games).

Our dental equipment was selected with the size of our patients in mind and it’s impact on the environment - we use only digital radiography that makes the x-ray process faster and less intrusive for each child (as well as no chemicals), and hand instruments were chosen for use with small children and their size and sound limitations. We are nearly paperless office with all charting and patients records kept on a secure computer in-office network.
